Bell County, Texas Based Nonprofit Launches Back To School, "Backpack Fundraiser & Giveaway."
Do you need help providing your student with school supplies this year? Would you like to support 100 local Bell County, Texas students in need with backpacks filled with school supplies & our special, "Violence Prevention For Students," Handbook? Now is your chance.
The One In Five Foundation For Kids, formerly The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, annual "School Supplies & Backpacks," fundraising event runs today, July 24th 2024 through August 17th 2024.
Through your support, this fundraising event will allow us to provide 100 students in need, 4K through college-age, living in the Bell County, Texas and surrounding rural areas with free school supplies - All provided in a convenient student backpack!
*Families of students in need may register to receive a FREE backpack full of school supplies, including our foundation's special violence prevention handbook, designed just for students, by emailing uvaldefoundationforkids@gmail.com or by calling 254 206 9089. Please provide your name, school, and grade of your student(s).
*WE NEED YOUR HELP! Those wishing to donate to support our purchase of backpacks and supplies are appreciated. Donations are tax deductible & receipts will be provided.
Additionally, those desiring to donate new backpacks and/or school supplies may do so at one of our Temple, Texas volunteer drop off locations: Riverwood Apartments, 3550 SW H K Dodgen Loop #112, Temple, Tx 76504
Those dropping off backpack/supply donations are requested to make contact first with us to confirm & arrange drop off times.
