The Uvalde Foundation For Kids Released A Brief, Saturday Evening, In Regards To A Reported Mass Shooting At The Allen Premium Outlet Mall About 15 Miles From Foundation Headquarters In Dallas, Texas. Headquarter Officials Have Received Reports That A Foundation Student Volunteer May Have Been Among One Of The Victims.
Foundation Officials Are Reaching Out To The Family & Law Enforcement Officials To Determine Additional Details At This Time.
Foundation National Director, Daniel Chapin, Released A Brief Statement On The Shooting Saturday Evening Stating,
"Our Own Dallas, Texas Community Is Now Reeling From A Senseless Act Of Gun Violence. While this Has Not Occurred In One Of Our Schools; It Affects Our Foundation Family Deeply; Who Call The City Of Dallas Home & The People Here, Family. We Are Still Trying To Determine The Status Of Our Volunteer & Have Reached Out To City Officials For Available Information & To Determine What Additional Resources Our Foundation Might Be Able To Provide To Aide Our Wounded City At This Time... These Are Families & Students Of Our City & We Will Be Here For Them."
Foundation Officials Stated In Saturdays Release, That They Have Opened Their 24 Hour Crisis Response & Mental Health Care Line For The Community At This Time With Additional Staffing On Hand Throughout The Weekend.
