Red Bluff, California High School To Receive Foundation, "NONVIOLENT SCHOOL ALLIANCE AWARD"

UPDATED: The Uvalde Foundation has spoken with school officials in regard to their recognition and is awaiting a formal response at this time. We will post that response, along with the school's bio and fundraising page. (Saturday, 4 March 2023)

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a National NonProfit, dedicated to ending school violence; announced Monday, that it will be honoring Red Bluff High School, in Red Bluff, California; with its "NonViolent School Alliance Award," for the school's recent nonviolence programming at it's Red Bluff, California campus.

The Foundation noted that, "Red Bluff High School has engaged one of the most powerful tools to prevent school violence in all its forms - Students. We honor their innovative efforts to engage their students & staff in violence prevention & extend our collaborative resources to their goals. The Foundation further hopes to see school communities from across the nation begin to use similar models on their campuses."


The Foundation stated that the school will join a list of 6 selected schools from across the nation annually to receive the recognition; which includes Foundation support toward a school's continuing nonviolence based programming.


Through the Award, The Foundation seeks to recognize schools across the nation working to prevent school violence in all its forms & enrich student life.
