Uvalde Foundation For Kids & CST Partners Respond To University Of Las Vegas - Nevada Shooting
The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a national nonprofit formed following the May 2022 school shooting In Uvalde, Texas; released Wednesday evening that it's volunteer, "Critical Incident Response Teams," out of Texas are responding to the recent shooting at the UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA - LAS VEGAS.
Additionally, foundation officials noted that their Therapy Partners; CST Partners (Crisis Support Therapy) has an emergency response team to be deployed to the campus out of Dallas, Texas to provide additional trauma therapy services to those affected by the shooting event which has taken 3 lives. Licensed CST therapists will provide a range of support and alternative therapy for UNLV students & school community members; including CranioSacral and Lymphatic Therapy.
The Uvalde Foundation's, CST Partners, have held several therapy sessions following the Uvalde, Texas school shooting; as well as the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, TN is a 501c3 non-profit entity, dedicated to fortifying its network of alternative therapists, community partnerships, and corporate and private underwriting to be best positioned to serve communities in need quickly, effectively, and compassionately.
Officials with the Uvalde Foundation For Kids additionally noted in the late night release, that a 24 hour LIVE telephone & online mental health & crisis support line for UNIVERSITY STUDENTS & COMMUNITY members; manned by peer support and professional counselors, is now available at 888 685 8464.
CHAPLAINCY & student peer support services are also being made available by the foundation with additional staff on hand over the next several days.
